    Kickin it!!

Posted by Len on 29th Jul 2024

About 7 years ago, I was researching bass drum pedals with triggers or something to add a back beat to my acoustic playing. In that time I ran across the Kopf Stompbox. I saw a video with a guy playing it on a big stage and had to try it. It turned out to be one of the best purchases I ever made to emphasize my music! Easy to set up and use and durable! I use for every show and people come up to me all of the time asking about it! I highly recommend the Kopf Stompbox if you want to add a bit of flare and drive to your acoustic show!

This is a nice instrument and it adds the missing percussive element to my shows. It really has made a difference in my performances Very well built. It is very responsive to how hard I tap my foot.

    ToeKicker stomp box

Posted by Lillian Hastie, Percussionist, The Elastic Waste Band on 28th Aug 2019

I was looking for good big sound and playability. This box delivers both. The acoustic pickup does amazing, sound is full and deep. It even responds to lighter or heavier foot tapping. It plays equally well with toe or heel. I love the design: simple, beautifully put together and finished, it feels like picking up a solid piece of oak, the feet are strong and well placed at the corners so it sits solidly under your foot. The plug is a quality item. I've run it with a 40-watt amp 10 inch speaker for rehearsals and that's adequate. I set treble all the way down, midrange about 10 o'clock, bass full up, sounds like a kick drum. If I'm performing without a sound system or through a mic, I'm bringing a Fender Bassman with a 14" speaker. :) 5 stars all the way.

I PLAY MOSTLY SOLO.......ACTUALLY THAT IS ALL I DO. THIS REALLY ADDS A GREAT PERCUSSIVE ADDITION TO MY SETS. I RUN IT THROUGH A BASS AMP AND IT THUMPS LIKE CRAZY. VERY DEEP BASS WITH JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF MIDS AND TREBLE. I AM LOVING THIS THING.

    Really good stompbox

Posted by Jared Godwin on 7th Feb 2019

I bought several stompboxes off ebay and they all sounded like crap. This one lives up to it's pricetag. I thought that it was a little pricey, but they offered a moneyback warranty so I ordered it anyway. Worth every penny. Glad I took a chance.

This sounds great and is very well built. It’s very consistent in sound unlike others I’ve used. I highly recommend!

    Cool little stompbox

Posted by Turner B. on 6th Dec 2018

I play solo gigs on the weekends and this is just what I needed. It does just what I need it to do. I tap my foot while I am playing and it gives me a bass drum sound. It really gets the audience into the groove.
